let me illustrate how outdated is the debate Nature vs Nurture.

You know that the official pseudo-science had finalized
this age old debate with the "Blank Slate" theory:
everything in humans is nurture,
humans are infinitely malleable.

Formally it states "nurture wins", and gives all
pseudo-evidence for this statement.
Whereas the strategic propagandist role of the "blank slate"
is specifically the Infinite Malleability,
but it is not officially stated, it is implied,
we are supposed to be freely driven to this false-corollary --
because it is required by marxism,
but the marxist motivation should not be mentioned.

I listen russian science news regularly,
and i witness the following phenomenon:
The (((official))) propaganda has reached russian science,
but has not acquired full grip.
Official russian educators are emotionally on-board with the
blank slate narrative, and sort of motivated to promote it,
but they are not given exact soundbites to utter,
and they are not properly monitored by the censors.
They have been hit by Jared Diamonds and Steven Pinkers,
but was not aimed at!
They got the sentiment, but they are not instructed
what to do with it.
So that they IMPROVISE some make-shift propaganda
OUT OF THEIR OWN VOLITION, because they EMOTE, they FEEL
they should, but there is nobody to "guide" them.

What do they use for their make-shift reverences
for the "blank slate"?
They use their own legitimate scientific findings,
trying to stretch and fit them onto this shiny object.
And because those findings are not specifically prepared
to serve the (((official))) propaganda,
and the people have no idea about the real motivation
behind this propaganda, they produce curious results.

Very similar to the original CARGO CULT!!!

Svetlana Burlak had learned that all "respectable" scientists
must kiss negro-ass --

she thinks it is a necessary part of scientific work,
and she genuinely wants to be accepted in the west,

As if they stuck in evolutionary development :)

She tried to promote the "blank slate"
using her knowledge of human fetal development.

imagine the significance of the nurture:
for several years we humans specifically nurture
THE GROWING BRAIN. the culture, the learning,
all that we consider nurture directly affects THE MORPHOLOGY
of your brain, it gets exposed to the culture while growing,
it grows its more important parts under the influence
of the culture rather than genes, genes only determine
a very crude plan, and then you are suddenly born,
and all important features are added to your brain by nurture,
and all that amounts to effing 2/3 by volume.

Again, let's put this claim in the context:
human brain stops growing at some point,
neurons do not replicate,
the amount of rewiring in an adult brain is insignificant
by comparison to the early development.

It means that the Infinite Malleability DOES NOT FOLLOW
from the "Blank Slate"!!!

Even if the Slate is Blank as snow, it can not be repainted
after it was painted ONCE.
Exactly because of the blankness(!)
all cultures are HARDWIRED in our brains!

Taste the irony,
in order to prove the "Blank Slate" she destroyed
the very motivation behind the "Blank Slate".

There is no practical diff between nurture and nature,
either way we shape a brain that is marginally malleable.
